Gastric bypass Surgery, My Cousin had this last year
My cousin had this surgery last November in 2007 and when she weighed in last month she has lost 167 lbs.
WOW!
I am really happy for her and I know she still wants to lose some more I’m not sure how much more she lives out in Maryland, so I don’t get to see her but finally my cousin sent me a couple photo’s of her since she has lost this amount of weight and I must say I hardly reconignized her!
You know when you lose that much weight, we have that “extra baggage” that hangs onto us, you know the extra skin and nastiness but even though she was sitting, she looked kinda “ill”, Sorry Cousin but that was my first thought of Oh My God, you look sick!! I’m not saying that to be mean either but you looked ill so I hope you are not and I wish I could see you in person maybe this year you guys will feel like traveling out here to Missouri again, and then when I see you I can get all depressed now…ARRgghh!
My cousin and I are one year apart in age she is a year younger than me, but you know since her weight loss her knees and her physical therapy are going so much better, she is walking now ( with her cane and or walker) but she is not 100% dependent on her wheelchair like she was, so that’s GREAT!!!
So I wish you continued success ( cousin) and I hope you are taking care of yourself, she has such fair skin anyway maybe it was just the lighting I don’t know but get some SUN girl…LOL!
I am glad her surgery is/has helped her out so much, and she seems really happy with it so far;
